In the context of the BILT project, an Innovation and Learning Practice is a new approach that makes TVET more relevant to the needs of the economy, society and the environment. They address current challenges related to global trends in TVET systems in Africa, Asia and the Pacific, and Europe.
The publications portray initiatives that belong to one of the BILT work streams: New Qualifications and Competencies in TVET, Greening TVET, Digitalization in TVET, Entrepreneurship in TVET, or Migration and TVET. They offer a learning opportunity for other TVET stakeholders, with the possibility to adapt and replicate key elements of the approach in their specific context.
In the first phase of the BILT project, only initiatives from Europe have been published. In 2021 the focus is on identifying and publishing Innovation and Learning Practices from Africa as well as Asia and the Pacific. Stay tuned for our new releases!

As Finland experiences a growing number of migrants and refugees, there is an increasing need for support to facilitate their integration into the workforce and society. KATE project offers a blended - online and face-to-face - service model that includes a tailored educational and employment roadmap based on learner’s background and skills. The initiative supports local economic growth through matching migrants with companies located in the South-Savo region, Finland.
