CIMQUSEF 2007
How can higher education and higher education research address the challenges of the knowledge society? This was a key question that education researchers, policy makers and practitioners examined at the Fourth International Congress on Quality Management in Systems of Education and Training (CIMQUSEF 2007). The meeting took place in Casablanca, Morocco, 17-19 April 2007.
During the two-day meeting, the following topics were discussed:
Rupert Maclean, Director of UNESCO-UNEVOC, presented a keynote address on ‘Vocationalisation of Higher Education: Issues, Concerns and Prospects’. The address was well received and provoked much discussion during a question and answer session immediately following the presentation.
