INFP, Haiti joins the ranks of UNEVOC Network

The Institute of Technical and Vocational Education (INFP), a premier agency tasked with TVET in Haiti recently joined the UNEVOC Network. The UNEVOC Centre inaugurated by the Director General of INFP, Dr. Maguy Durce, also saw the attendance of senior representatives of international stakeholders supporting TVET reforms in Haiti.


Dr. Durce, DG of INFP receives the UNEVOC plaque from Mr. Paul Gomis, Director of UNESCO Office in Haiti.

Established in 1987, the Institute of Technical and Vocational Education (INFP) is tasked with the development of national vocational training system and its regulation, and ensuring quality TVET opportunities are made accessible across Haiti. TVET has also been a key priority area identified by the Haitian Government to enable youth employment and sustainable development in Haiti. The Director of UNESCO Office in Haiti, Mr. Paul Gomis welcomed the inclusion of the INFP in the UNEVOC Network, and called for a concerted support from the national and international partner organizations to invest for TVET in Haiti.
