The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) is a higher education institution focused on teacher education and the professional development of educators and trainers. It undertakes research and development activities and offers teacher education and professional development programmes for other educational roles at subdegree, bachelor, postgraduate, diploma, masters and doctoral levels.
The University is developing its profile to include Professional and Vocational Education - focusing on TVET teacher and trainer education and research into TVET. In that and its other fields of professional educational practice, it is recognised internationally as a leading regional university.
The UNEVOC Centre specialises in technical and vocational education, elder education, education for sustainability and teacher education.
EdUHK aims to be a leading university in the Asia Pacific region and beyond, with a focus on educational research, development and innovation. It’s primary mission is to lead educational innovation, and to promote and support the strategic development of teaching, teacher education and disciplines complementary to education by preparing outstanding and morally responsible educators and professionals while supporting their lifelong learning.
