The Director of UNESCO-UNEVOC participated in a seminar and donors meeting on EFA in Africa. The meeting took place in Oslo, Norway, on 2 June 2005. Eighty participants, including UNEVOC Centres, Ministry of Education officials, professors, research students, and donor agencies came together to exchange information about on-going EFA efforts in Africa, specific EFA challenges and approaches to reaching EFA goals in the region.
