The National Centre for Human Resources Development (NCHRD) is a government institution that operates under the auspices of the Higher Council for Science and Technology chaired by his highness prince El Hassan Bin Talal and is conceived as an external semi-independent.
NCHRD has served Jordanian citizens through its vital role in capacity building and institutionalization of education development initiatives (via the First Educational Development Plan1988) and linking investment in training, education, and qualifications to labor market needs.
It’s mission is to assist in meeting Jordan’s development needs, by enhancing the effectiveness of its educational and training system. It aims to develop the national human resources and engages with various public and private sector institutions, on the national, regional, and international level, in Jordan and the Arab region
NCHRD has been a lead player in the national ETVET reform effort since 2005, which culminated in the E-TVET Strategy.
