Government Staff Training College was established in 1979 with the technical assistance of GTZ, Germany, to provide instructor training to in-service staff of vocational institutions & Technical Colleges.
It is the first institute of TEVTA Punjab which has been certified as ISO 9001:2000 QMS. In 1986, Government Staff Training College introduced Master craftsman training, G-I level for skill workers who have completed training of G-II level.
Electrical / Mechanical/ Electronics/Management/IT short courses of 1 to 3 weeks duration and pedagogy courses for TEVTA teachers are being offered.
