UNEVOC Centre (Ministry) since 2006
The Ministry of Education and Training in Eswatini continues to align its activities with global, regional and national policy initiatives, more so because it is signatory to these declarations. At international level, efforts have been made to attain the Education for All (EFA) targets and the Millennium Development Goals (MDG’s). The country has done very well towards achieving EFA goals on introducing universal primary education, expansion of adult literacy and eliminating of gender disparities and enhancement of education quality is responsible for providing relevant quality education that aims at developing the country’s human capital so that they actively participate in the socio economic and political development of the country.
To provide relevant, quality and affordable education and training opportunities for the entire populace of the Kingdom of Swaziland I order to develop all positive aspects of life for self-reliance, social and economic development and global competitiveness.
Vision
Attainment of equality in educational opportunities for all pupils of schooling going age and adults irrespective of their socio economic background, with the ultimate goal of enhancing their productive capacity, thus improving the quality of their lives.
