Bow Valley College (BVC) is the only public, comprehensive community institution in the Calgary area, specializing in delivering quality education and training programs for over 50 years. BVC offers high-quality, affordable and high in-demand disciplines such as business, creative technologies, health and community studies. BVC also offers fast-tracked programs with hands-on training to gain work experience during study and after graduation. BVC continues to have success in the marketplace serving the training needs of international companies and governments.

Most programs include work experience – an asset for making connections and earning practical knowledge – which increases employability, with 93% of BVC graduates finding employment in their field of study within six months of graduation. BVC strives to make students’ journey a smooth transition. Students are encouraged to help build the campus community through volunteering, enhancing public speaking and leadership skills and participating in diverse cultural celebrations. Many departments are dedicated to promoting a vibrant campus life and to supporting students as they adjust to their new life in Calgary.
