UNEVOC Centre (Uni/Research) since 2017
The Instructor Training and Research Center (ITC) affiliated to the Iran Technical and Vocational Training Organization (Iran TVTO) was established with cooperation of International Labor Organization (ILO) and United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in 1974.
ITC was established to provide and train instructors and trainers of Iran Technical and Vocational Training Organization (Iran TVTO) and other institutions under this organization. ITC is mainly responsible for human resource development and acts as an independent center under the direct control of Iran TVTO’s President.
Iran TVTO, affiliated to the Ministry of Cooperative, Labour and Social Welfare, is responsible for applied and skill training with the objective to create productive employment environment, promote job and work culture in society, develop human resources, train skilled workers and technicians needed for manufacturing and economic enterprises.
Currently, ITC is considered as an advanced skills and specialized training centre, in national and regional level, due to its up to date and comprehensive software and hardware facilities, as well as its professional human resources. It has 17 specialized training departments including; electricity, automotive technology, welding, machine tools, CNC, IT, pedagogy and entrepreneurship, fashion design, wood industries, electronics and mechatronic, HAVC and home appliance, foreign languages agriculture construction and building industries... The Center is ready to expand its cooperation with other training, educational and research institutions, organizations and industries based on its main objectives.
ITC is to contribute the national and international sustainable development and Education for All by providing training for TVT instructors and trainers as the key factor in human resource development. We follow the mission: “Skilled Trainers; Effective Training; Sustainable Development”.
