The Ministry of Education is one of the ministerial posts established under the constitution of the Government of the Marshalls. One of the main responsibilities of the Ministry is to plan, implement, assess and evaluate the elementary (academic) and secondary (academic & vocational) education programmes in the country. Although post-secondary education (the College of the Marshalls) and training of the country´s labour force (The National Training Council) are not direct responsibilities of the Ministry, the responsible entities are required to report to the Minister of Education.
