UNEVOC Centre (National Body) since 2007
The Agency for Vocational Education and Training and Adult Education is a public institution, founded in June 2010 by the Act on Agency for Vocational Education and Training and Adult Education.
The Agency deals with professional development and training of VET teachers, through organisation and implementation of professional exams, implementation of procedures for their promotion, and organisation and implementation of professional trainings.
The Agency developed and implements Quality Assurance system in VET. The Agency is in charge of organisation and implementation of skills competitions and under the name of WorldSkills Croatia represents country in the WorldSkills Europe and WorldSkills International.
The Agency programs and implements international projects in VET and Adult Education, with total value (2019) of more than 45 mil EUR.
Our mission is to make education the strongest root of personal growth and success.
To be source of expertise and information on VET and AE system in Croatia.

Support professional development of teachers and trainers in learning outcomes oriented system
Establish quality assurance system.
Among its main tasks, the Agency develops new and modernizes existing VET curricula based on VET qualifications that is competences and learning outcomes, which reflect the needs of labor market and further education. Sector Councils have an important role in the process of harmonization of VET system with labor market needs which encompass representatives of all partners and stakeholders in Vocational Education and Training.
