UNEVOC Centre (National Body) since 1994
INATEC is a governamental entity that regulates Technical Education and Professional Training in Nicaragua. We promote the acquisition of knowledge and skills needed for the world of work, contributing to the national economic development.
We have 45 technological centers that provide free quality technical education and professional training to Nicaraguan citizens.
INATEC is the governamental entity in charge of Profesional Training and Technical Technological Education in Nicaragua, we train young people and adults with quality, contributing to their insertion in the world of work, to streghten the economic and social development of the country.
1-Implementing technical and professional education programs aimed to train our beloved people with great love and human warmth.
2-Applying Science, Techniques and Technology for the development of educative, productive and evolutionary practices in different fields.
3-Contributing to the strengthening and development of the creative, social, family, associative, complementary and communitarian economic model in both rural and urban areas.
4-Improving teachers’ pedagogical, technical and technological skills through initial, complementing and specialization training programs.
5-Implementing the principles of protagonism, integrity, complementarity, respect, dignity and, effective equal and fair inclusion of all human beings.
6-Enhancing our services quality by Improving the conditions, effectiveness and efficiency of our work procedures to strengthen our institutional management.
1-Accreditation of Public and Private Technical centers.
2-Curriculum design.
3-Pedagogical and Technical Professional Training.
4-Certification of people that does not hold a technical degree but have developed professional skills in the working world.
5-Development of Professional training courses (61 Professional training courses).
6-Development of Technical and Technological training courses (More than 300 Technical training courses).
7-Development of face to face and virtual training courses. (INATEC has 45 Public Technological centers nationwide and a virtual learning platform).
