UNEVOC Centre (Ministry) since 1995
The Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan has the quality competitive human resource system to provide all people with life-long learning experiences relevant to their current and future needs in order to respond to and stimulate sustained economic development through an educated population and a skilled workforce.
The MOE is responsible for implemementing V.E. policy and strategies. The Vocational education & production Management Directorate responsibility include: Planning, follow-up the vocational education at the three levels (center, field directories, vocational schools). Utilizing the training equipments and facilities for production in the vocational schools, Vocational teachers and instructors training, Practical Performance Exam, Researchers (tracer studies), Guidance and counseling, enhances the role of vocational schools in the community development.
To create and administer an education system based on “excellence,” energized by its human resources, dedicated to high standards, social values, and a healthy spirit of competition, which contributes to the nation`s wealth in a global “Knowledge Economy.”
Developing vocational education in the schools of the Jordanian Ministry of Education and keeping abreast of the latest technology and equipment that benefit the student and keep a full knowledge of the requirements of the local and external market, which will give good returns to individuals and the country
Working on developing the skills of teachers and trainers in vocational schools by holding technical and advisory courses on modern methods of education and training through theoretical and practical courses.
