UNEVOC Centre (Ministry) since 1995

The Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan has the quality competitive human resource system to provide all people with life-long learning experiences relevant to their current and future needs in order to respond to and stimulate sustained economic development through an educated population and a skilled workforce.

The MOE is responsible for implemementing V.E. policy and strategies. The Vocational education & production Management Directorate responsibility include: Planning, follow-up the vocational education at the three levels (center, field directories, vocational schools). Utilizing the training equipments and facilities for production in the vocational schools, Vocational teachers and instructors training, Practical Performance Exam, Researchers (tracer studies), Guidance and counseling, enhances the role of vocational schools in the community development.

To create and administer an education system based on “excellence,” energized by its human resources, dedicated to high standards, social values, and a healthy spirit of competition, which contributes to the nation`s wealth in a global “Knowledge Economy.”

Regional Expert Meeting in Beirut highlights opportunities for online networking to improve TVET in the region
The three-day meeting on Promising Practices in TVET and Entrepreneurship Education in the Arab States held in Beirut demonstrated the willingness of different institutions to work closely together in tackling common issues in TVET.
