UNEVOC Centre (Uni/Research) since 2004

We conduct research activities that seek to document teachers’ good support practices including in a distance learning environment. We have three college centers for technology transfer.

Nergica is a centre of applied research that stimulates innovation in the renewable energy industry through research, technical assistance, technology transfer and technical support for businesses and communities. Visit nergica.com

Merinov is the integrated center for applied research in the fields of fishing, aquaculture, processing and development of aquatic products. Visit merinov.ca

CIRADD is a center specializing in sustainable development. It offers research and analysis services as well as support, assistance and training to organizations wishing to find innovative and sustainable solutions. Visit ciradd.ca


Nous réalisons des activités de recherche qui vise à documenter les bonnes pratiques d’accompagnement des enseignants incluant les pratiques dans un contexte de formation à distance. Nous avons trois centres collégiaux de transfert de technologie.

The vision and mission of the UNEVOC Centre are to contribute to the development and improvement of technical and vocational education and training.

La vision et la mission du Centre UNEVOC est de contribuer au développement et à l’amélioration de la formation technique et professionnelle.


To accomplish its mission, the UNEVOC Centre has set for itself the following objectives:

  • Promote good educational practices in vocational and technical education and training;
  • Improve access to vocational and technical education and training through the development of educational strategies for distance learning; and
  • Promote research in sustainable development and educational transfer.

Pour réaliser sa mission, le Centre Unevoc s’est donné les objectifs prioritaires suivants :

  • Promouvoir les bonnes pratiques pédagogiques dans l’enseignement professionnel et technique;
  • Améliorer l’accès à l’enseignement en développant des stratégies pédagogiques applicables en formation à distance;
  • Promouvoir la recherche dans le développement durable et du transfert pédagogique.

Regular tasks

The Cégep de la Gaspésie et des Îles offers a variety of programs of study to over 1500 students in a stimulating environment that fosters good teacher-student relations.

Renewable energies: Let’s build a sustainable future
Cégep de la Gaspésie et des Îles, in collaboration with the Nergica Collegial Research Centre, organized a webinar on renewable energies and their contribution to a sustainable future for us all. The webinar discussed the importance of producing electricity in a green and sustainable way, as well as its benefits for our planet.
