UNEVOC Centre (National Body) since 1995
The National Office of Vocational Education and Training and Adult Learning (NOVETAL) is the background institution of the Ministry for Innovation and Technology. NOVETAL operates 41 VET Centres and more than 371 VET schools in Hungary.
The Office conducts, initiates, organizes and coordinates regional and nationwide research activities within national and international projects. Together with other stakeholders in VET it pursues the continuous development of the vocational structure.

The Office conducts, initiates, organizes and coordinates regional and nationwide research activities within national and international projects. Together with other stakeholders in VET it pursues the continuous development of the vocational structure.
NOVETAL participates in drafting legislation for VET and adult learning and the National Qualification Register, prepares it for approval and publication, monitors its implementation and makes proposals concerning its amendment or updating process.
It also provides for the continuous development of the contents of VET:
The Office operates the National Reference Point and manages European education related projects:the Europass Certificate Supplements, EQAVET, Euroguidance and EPALE.
