UNEVOC Centre (National Body) since 1995
The Office of the Vocational Education Commission (OVEC, formerly DOVE) is responsible for tailoring vocational education and training to the needs of labour markets and national economic growth in accordance with the manpower production policy and the National Economic and Social Development Plan. OVEC has vocational institutes throughout the country. One of the major functions of these institutes is rural development. Each college has its own programmes of activities to suit the various needs of local communities.
