(English translation below) L’Institut Supérieur de Technologie d’Antsiranana (IST-D) est un établissement public sous la tutelle du Ministère de l’Enseignement Supérieur et de la Recherche Scientifique, jouissant d’une autonomie pédagogique, administrative et financière.
The Antsiranana Higher Institute of Technology (IST-D) is a public establishment under the supervision of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, enjoying pedagogical, administrative and financial autonomy.
(English translation below) L’IST-D a pour mission de :
- former des techniciens supérieurs (bacc+2), des techniciens supérieurs spécialisés (grade Licence), et des ingénieurs (grade Master) directement opérationnels ;
- offrir aux travailleurs des formations à caractère professionnel et technique (formation continue) ;
- mener des activités de recherche au service du développement.
The IST-D has the following mission
- train higher technicians (2 years after A level), specialized higher technicians (Bachelor degree), and engineers (Master degree) that are ready for the world of work after graduation;
- offer workers vocational and technical training (continuous training);
- carry out research activities for development.
