The Ministry of Technical Education and Vocational Training aims to promote technical education and vocational training in Yemen to provide young people with the skills necessary to find decent employment. MOTVET has the mandate of carrying out policies and researches to implement technical education and vocational training in the country and of achieving the development to tackle poverty and conserve the environment. Since its establishment in 2001, MOTVET explore the methods of development to cohere the rapidly changing demand of national and international labour markets. Other institutions and committees of the Ministry of Technical Education and Vocational Training, were developed and established simultaneously in respond to the demand of labour market. Among the institutes that were installed were the Institute of Technical and Vocational Education and the Bureau of Technical Education and Vocational Training.
