Miki Nozawa

Programme Specialist

Miki Nozawa joined UNESCO-UNEVOC International Centre for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) as Programme Specialist in 2016. She serves as Team Leader for the Secretariat of the UNEVOC Network, which is UNESCO’s global network of over 220 member institutions specialized in TVET in more than 140 countries. She also coordinates the International Centre’s thematic work related to Inclusion in TVET and Youth, including the Centre’s ongoing work on entrepreneurial skills development, and gender equality in TVET.

She has more than 20 years of experience working at UNESCO’s Education Sector, including at Headquarters (Division of Youth; Division of Secondary, Technical and Vocational Education) and in the field (UNESCO Offices in Bangkok and Beijing).

Miki pursued her studies in Japan, the United Kingdom and France and holds a Pre-Doctoral Diploma in Comparative Research on Development from Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales in Paris.
