Online learning

Learning via educational material that is delivered on a computer via an intranet or the Internet.

Term that have emerged to describe the application of information and communication technologies (ICTs) to enhance distance education, implement open learning policies, make learning activities more flexible and enable those learning activities to be distributed among many learning venues.

Online learning is e-learning with a mandatory inovlvement of a digital network which a learner needs in order to access at least part of the learning materials and services. Online learning refers to network enabled teaching and learning that allows the learner to have increased interaction with content, teacher and other learners.
