Individual learning accounts give people of working age a budget to spend on training to improve their skills and employability.
System of public incentive, expressed in either money or time that a learner can spend in the institutions of his or her choice, to encourage access of adults to learning – for example those not already benefiting from publicly-funded education or training.
Comment
Individual learning accounts aim to widen participation in professional and personal development.
