SDG 4.7.4 (Gender equality)

Gender equality refers to the right to access and participate in education, as well as to benefit from gender sensitive educational environments, processes and achievements, while obtaining meaningful education outcomes that link education benefits with social and economic life.

Measures attitudes towards gender equality measured through agreement with positive expressions (e.g. “Men and women should have equal opportunities to take part in government” or “Men and women should get equal pay when they are doing the same jobs”) and disagreement with negative expression towards gender equality (such as “Women should stay out of politics” or “Men are better qualified to be political leaders than women”).
