The WorldSkills International organization runs global skills competitions, the "world championships of skills". They are held every two years in different parts of the world. The organization has 85 member countries (status in February 2023). National WorldSkills organizations also run national and local skills competitions and events in their respective countries.
Worldskills International also organizes an annual conference to share best practices and learn about global trends and issues in Vocational Education and Training (VET), skills demand, future skills as well as skills excellence and skills development.
