An apprenticeship agreement is "a written agreement that is concluded between an apprentice and a host enterprise or public institution and, if permitted by national laws and regulations, may also be signed by a third party, such as an Educational or training institution or an intermediary."
A contract wherein a prospective employer binds himself to train the apprentice who, in turn, accepts the terms/conditions of training for a recognized apprenticeable occupation emphasizing the rights, duties, and responsibilities of each party.
