JET works very closely in the TVET subsystem of the South African Ministry of Higher Education and Training. Its responsibilities in the TVET sector are research, capacity building of lecturers in TVET colleges and youth employability programmes. These are the key areas for collaboration that the two UNEVOC Centres are exploring togehter. The Chinese delegation was led by Ms GAO Ying (CIVTE) while JET was represented by its Chief Operations Officer Dr James Keevy.
