Toolkits for TVET providers

This online platform was launched in 2022 to provide TVET stakeholders and practitioners with information on, and access to, online toolkits. Multiple toolkits for TVET providers/practitioners have been, and continue to be, created. The purpose of such toolkits ranges from facilitating TVET providers' 'self-reflection' on aspects of their provision to quantitative performance assessments. Some toolkits have a thematic focus (e.g. on digitalization or greening) whereas others have an organizational focus. For some themes, there are multiple toolkits, for example to assess and/or reflect upon teacher/trainer training needs. The purpose of this database is to bring the many and varied toolkits into one place and to provide a guide and resource for:
  • TVET practitioners seeking a ready-made guide or self-assessment tool on themes such as digitalization, greening and inclusion; and
  • researchers and policy makers seeking to design new organizational assessment tools for their TVET providers.

TVET delivery: providing innovative solutions (New Qualifications and Competencies for future-oriented TVET) - Volume 3

This practical guide focuses on the micro-level stakeholders involved in the implementation of TVET skilling programmes and/or their components in understanding some of the challenges and opportunities of introducing new qualifications and competencies into TVET programmes. The guide aims to address the role and contributions of TVET providers and companies in identifying, integrating and implementing new qualifications and competencies, drawing on contributions from literature as well as expert engagements and case studies.
