5 July, 2016
Kiev, Ukraine
A mentorship meeting was held as part of the iHUB's comprehensive Development of Female Entrepreneurship Programme. The meeting was attended by female entrepreneurs, as well as experts from various industries. iHUB is a UNEVOC member since 2016.
The meeting raised awareness on the issues affecting women in business, and provided inspiring examples on how to overcome such obstacles. Young women presented their projects to experienced entrepreneurs, who gave them valuable feedback. One of the outcomes of the meeting was the development of a work plan which will ensure that the young entrepreneurs are connected with a network of mentors carefully selected by the iHUB centre. The programme aims to increase the number of women in Ukrainian businesses.
