Online conference on “Digitalization and TVET”
The GIZ TVET Academy / UNEVOC Centre Magdeburg,Germany, jointly organized this virtual event with international partners. The conference addressed the effects of the digitization of work processes on TVET and discussed implications for the competence development of TVET professionals.

Pandit Sunderlal Sharma Central Institute of Vocational Education wins Green Skills Award
PSSCIVE, a UNEVOC Centre in India, has won the European Training Foundation's Green Skills Award for its trailblazing curricula that incorporate green skills in 152 job roles across 17 sectors of the economy. The initiative covers over 10,000 schools and reaches 1.2 million students.

JET Education Services co-publishes report on Education for Sustainable Development and COVID-19 in Southern Africa
JET Education Services, a UNEVOC Centre in South Africa, has co-published a report with the UNESCO Regional Office for Southern Africa and other partners that looks at the need to 'build forward better', giving attention to social justice and sustainability while acting collectively to recover from the pandemic.

Chinese UNEVOC Centre wins Gold Award in iGEM
In November 2019, the 16th international Genetic Engineering Machine Competition (iGEM) was held in Boston over the course of four days. The students' team from Shenzhen Polytechnic (SZPT) won the gold award and the nomination award for the best food and nutrition project, with their research project on anti-hypertensive probiotic food.
