English | Français

This document consists of two series of case studies. The first series describes the role of technical and vocational education in the education systems of Cameroon, Congo, Ghana, Kenya, Madagascar, Nigeria and Zimbabwe. The second series deals with policy and legislation to promote co-operation between technical and vocational education and the world of work; it covers Burkina Faso, Côte d’Ivoire, Senegal, Swaziland and Uganda. Information from Guinea-Bissau and Cap Verde has been included as well. A synthesis elaborates the similarities and differences among the situations found in those countries.
