This is the report on a conference held in Adelaide, Australia, from 25 27 March 1998. Participants from 40 countries from the Asia/Pacific Region and beyond attended. The report presents the keynote speeches. It summarizes recommendations on the themes of the Second International Congress on Technical and Vocational Education to be held in Seoul, Republic of Korea, in April 1999. It also presents recommendations on an “Entrepreneurial Skill for Small Business” project, a clearing house project on curriculum development and research, and a project on “Key Competencies Professional Development”.
