As a follow-up to the Shanghai Congress and the World Education Forum and as a prelude to the Asia-Pacific Conference on Education and Training (ACET), held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from 3 to 5 August 2015, UNESCO commissioned a regional study to review progress in the Asia-Pacific since the Shanghai Congress.
