World Youth Skills Day 2017

UNESCO-UNEVOC and WorldSkills International in action

World Youth Skills Day is an official United Nations Observance since 2015, and raises awareness about the importance of youth skills development.

This report gives an account of how members of the UNEVOC

Network, the world’s largest platform of technical and

vocational education and training (TVET) institutions, as well as members of WorldSkills International, celebrated the day.

More than 50 UNEVOC Centres from 40 countries and 29 WorldSkills International members held events that brought

together different stakeholders.
