i-hubs Innovation Framework

Development of comprehensive Innovation Framework is a central pillar of the I-hubs initiative. It provides a systematic, institution-wide, measurable and evidence-informed methodology for increasing capacity of TVET Institutions to drive innovation. Through applying the Framework, TVET Institutions will be able to provide skills needed for innovation, and at the same time, innovate learning processes, products and services offered to youth, adults, entrepreneurs and companies.

The Innovation Framework includes a structured self-assessment process and a toolbox that enables the TVET Institutions to build their innovation capacity.

The i-hubs Innovation Framework has been updated and enriched through experience and feedback gained through each Guided Self-Assessment that took place from June 2019 onwards. In particular, the i-hubs Innovation Framework will be revised according to feedback from the i-hubs in a progress meeting scheduled for the 4 December 2019.
