Project Assistant
Valbona initially joined the BILT team at the German Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training (BIBB) in September 2022 as an intern, returning in April 2023 as a student assistant.
She holds a BA with first-grade honors in International Relations from the American College of Thessaloniki and is currently pursuing her Master's degree in International Education Management at the University of Ludwigsburg Germany and Helwan University in Cairo. Prior to joining BIBB she worked in the development and civil society sector with a focus on education primarily in Kosovo. Her previous work experience spans several organizations and international development agencies, such as, the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), Save the Children, OSCE Kosovo, USAID, Peer Educators Network (PEN) local NGO and YEU International based in Brussels.
