Developing the skills of TVET students through immersive learning tools

NED University, in partnership with MIMBUS, has integrated innovative virtual reality training component aimed at mitigating occupational hazards, reducing training costs, and shortening training durations. The virtual reality training component offers portability, eliminating the need for large, fixed training spaces. It also helps the instructor to assess the skills of the trainees and improves the efficiency of the training using AI technology. This collaborative endeavor highlights the importance of flexibility in TVET, where traditional methods are augmented by digital innovations such as virtual reality. This initiative is featured as a BILT Innovation and Learning Practice representing a progressive approach to skills development.
