Since 2014, BKAL is certified Fairtrade School.
Since March 2016, BKAL has been implementing the Federal Institute for Vocational education and Training (BIBB, a UNEVOC Centre) pilot project “Promotion of sustainability competence in vocational training in the retail sector (FOENAKO)”, funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF). The project focuses on vocational training and the skills required for the sustainable development of educational staff and trainees in the retail sector.
The i-hubs institutional profiles provide an overview on participating UNEVOC Centres' strategic vision, TVET Programmes, Management Structure, and further information.
The strategic vision of BKAL is developing awareness about sustainable development/business and its establishment in the internal curriculum, as well as to motivate students with a holistic approach (hands-on projects).
