UNESCO Online Discussion Forums
UNESCO is organizing online discussion forums on “Quality Education to End Exclusion”. The discussions will be held within the framework of UNESCO’s support to the 2008 Global Action Week (21-27 April 2008), a worldwide campaign organized annually by the Global Campaign for Education (GCE).
This year, the twin themes of the Global Action Week are quality education and inclusion as key factors to attain the six Education for All (EFA) goals.
The online discussion forums provide a platform for sharing information, views and good practices to enrich the current debates on inclusion and quality education. The main themes and key questions that the discussions will address are:
While all themes are rather generic, participants can raise and address specific issues on each theme by posting messages and questions.
To access the discussions, please visit the UNESCO website at http://www.unesco.org/education/en/efa/global-action-week/forum . UNESCO encourages all EFA partners as well as education experts, practitioners and stakeholders to participate.
