Career guidance: A strategy for inclusion in TVET As part of the Global Careers Month, UNESCO-UNEVOC and UNESCO's Youth, Literacy and Skills Development Section will hold a webinar on Career guidance: A strategy for inclusion in TVET, in collaboration with The Public Fund “International Academy of Sciences, Ecology, Engineering and Pedagogy” (Republic of Kazakhstan). During this period, the international agencies promoted a series of global and regional events, in partnership with national and regional and global association associations operating around career development for both young people and adults.

International Day of Education The fifth International Day of Education will be celebrated on 24 January 2023 under the theme “to invest in people, prioritize education”. Building on the global momentum generated by the UN Transforming Education Summit in September 2022, this year’s Day will call for maintaining strong political mobilization around education and chart the way to translate commitments and global initiatives into action.

The TVET digital triathlon TDT is a friendly competition, organised by Skillman and ETF, in which Centres of Excellences present best practises in different digitalisation reform areas. The objective is to show how different aspects of the digitisation process in education can be addressed by institutions in different contexts with a blend of innovation, efficiency, effectiveness and sustainability.
The direct target groups of this initiative are the members of the Skillman and ETF Network for Excellence (ENE) networks. The event will be however open and broadly advertised. (more)
