About the UNEVOC Network

The UNEVOC Network is UNESCO’s global network for institutions specialized in technical and vocational education and training (TVET). It provides an environment for exchange, cooperation and mutual assistance for its members — UNEVOC Centres. There are four types of UNEVOC Centres: ministries, national bodies, training providers and research institutions.

Through international collaboration and peer learning, UNEVOC Centres continue to enhance the quality of TVET teaching and learning opportunities offered in their respective countries.

“Your Training is Your Security” initiative launched in Jordan
The National Center for Training and Rehabilitation of Trainers, Jordan, has launched a free initiative entitled "Your Training is Your Security”. Its aim is to direct youth group towards the importance of vocational and technical training as well as encouraging the local community towards vocational and technical disciplines. The launch ceremony targeted care homes under the Jordanian Ministry of Social Development.

The UNEVOC Network promotes multilateralism. Besides bilateral partnership with UNESCO-UNEVOC, UNEVOC Centres proactively interact, work and build on each other’s expertise. The UNEVOC Centres increase their institutional capacities and knowledge while supporting the development of TVET in their country, region and the world.
