In conflict areas, TVET is an effective means to quickly instilling people with the skills necessary for establishing non-violent livelihoods. UNESCO-UNEVOC assists countries in post-conflict reconstruction. So far, the Centre has implemented a project for Afghanistan and has undertaken a mapping exercise in Timor Leste and has published various publications on this topic.
