On 27 May 2014, Mr José Gregorio Contreras Fernández, Rector, and Ms Fabiola Mejía Barragán, Director for international relations, from the Escuela Tecnologica - Instituto Técnico Central (ETITC), a UNEVOC Centre in Colombia, visited UNESCO-UNEVOC in Bonn, Germany. The visit was organized to explore opportunities for closer cooperation and strengthen the UNEVOC Centre’s engagement with the UNEVOC Network. Aside from learning more about the recent and upcoming activities of the UNEVOC Centre, the conversation focused on highlighting how the centre can contribute to the UNEVOC Network and benefit from the online services offered by UNESCO-UNEVOC. The Escuela Tecnologica, which is a public institution under the Ministry of Education, has been a member of the UNEVOC Network since 1994. The institution’s mission is to form creative and competent people in the technical, technological and engineering areas, capable of solving problems through applied research.
