UNEVOC Centre's Executive Director meets with President of Pakistan

On 10 February 2016, the Executive Director of the National Vocational and Technical Training Commission in Pakistan, Zulfiqar Ahmad Cheema, met with the President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to discuss TVET in Pakistan and its importance with respect to poverty alleviation and the economic development.

Zulfiqar Ahmad Cheema called on the Government of Pakistan to make TVET a priority and invited the President to participate as Chief Guest in a Job Fairs scheduled to be held in Karachi on March 3rd, 2016. The President assured his support and appreciated the role of the private sector and employers played in the National Vocational and Technical Training Commission's activities.
