This report presents the varying perspectives of the participants of the Symposium of possible future changes in the multitude of factors that are likely to impact on the development of adult and continuing technical and vocational education. The Symposium was designed to assist the world of adult and continuing technical and vocational education to define these changes and suggest positive ways of responding to them. The Report includes the individual papers that were presented by participants, and a summary of the discussion and debates, and of the recommendations. Its appendices include documents related to the particular Symposium, and to technical and vocational education in general.
