ALADIN the Adult Learning, Documentation and Information Network was brought to life by the joint efforts of the UNESCO Institute for Education and numerous adult learning documentation and information centres around the world. With some 100 members, it addresses problems and disparities in access to adult learning resources by linking its members into a coherent whole while recognising the diversity of adult learning. This booklet outlines a workshop devoted to ALADIN at the CONFINTEA V Mid-term Review Conference in Bangkok in 2003 which looked at the networks history and accomplishments, identified its priorities and outlined its vision for the years leading up to CONFINTEA VI.
