Agency for Vocational Education and Training and Adult Education undertakes VET curricula reform (UNEVOC Centre in Croatia)
The project, co-financed by the European Social Fund, entered the final stage, introducing over 100 occupational standards, 145 qualification standards and 140 new curricula in VET, supporting teacher professional development and updating teaching materials.

National Skill Development Corporation and KPMG International launch a new mentorship programme (UNEVOC Centre in India)
Under the scope of the Global Skills Academy, KPMG, a member of UNESCO’s Global Education Coalition, has launched a new mentorship initiative with the National Skill Development Corporation International, a UNEVOC Centre in India, to support young graduates entering the labour market.

Temasek Polytechnic concludes its World Youth Skills Day (Asia Pacific) 2022 initiative
Themed “YOUth Matters: Celebrating Skills for the Future”, the inaugural WYSD (APAC) initiative ran from 7 July to 31 October 2022. The initiative was organized by Temasek Polytechnic, together with other UNEVOC Centres, local and regional partners, to amplify the voices of youth and better understand their perspectives when it comes to skills needed for the future. Global Skills Academy: New partnership to deliver skills training in Peru
A new initiative by UNESCO’s Global Skills Academy (GSA) will provide more than 100,000 young people across Peru with access to training in key employability skills thanks to a collaboration between Fundación Telefónica, a partner of the GSA, and SENATI, a UNEVOC Centre.

The WYSD 2022 Asia-Pacific initiative will run from 7 July to 31 October 2022 and feature several events and activities organized by Temasek Polytechnic, together with other UNEVOC Centres, local partners and regional institutions. The initiative seeks to provide a platform for young people so that various stakeholders in TVET can better understand their perspective when it comes to the skills needed for the future.

TVET PITSO 2021
HRDC, Botswana organized TVET Pitso 2021 to provide a platform for stakeholders to dialogue on issues relevant to the transformation of TVET as a viable avenue for skills development and employment creation. PSSCIVE, a UNEVOC Centre in India, has won the European Training Foundation's Green Skills Award for its trailblazing curricula that incorporate green skills in 152 job roles across 17 sectors of the economy. The initiative covers over 10,000 schools and reaches 1.2 million students.
